Thanks Ashmark. Fantastic to see they have both been found, would have loved to have been a fly on the wall at the reunion.  Welcome home Harry and Patch, clever boys for staying together.  Thanks to their owner for now looking out for Tommy, fingers crossed he is in the blue soon.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Oh, thank God they are back. Having had JRs most of my life I know how worrying and frustrating it is when they go off hunting. They also go quite deaf when they are on the scent of something, which drives you mad. Never mind, just glad your two are home now. Don't let them off the lead if I were you. Mind you, mine were so sneaky, if I turned my back for one nano-second, THEY WERE OFF. I have spent many years of my life looking and shouting down rabbit holes. But they are such great little dogs. I have never had a dog with a character to match a JR. I LOVE THEM !! I wish I had the energy to have a houseful of them like I used to do.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have heard from the owner, and really pleased to say that both dogs have been found safe and well. They had stayed together in the wood until owner found them. When owner was calling, they started barking and suddenly appeared. owner very grateful for our help, and will definitely look out for Tommy missing Parsons JRT same area. Welcome home Harry and Patch, and you stay safe now x (Sorry Jan- and thanks a million for doing the flyers so quickly, but pleased we dont need them now x) Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

It is highly likely he has gone hunting with the other dog. You must scour the area, look and listen down all rabbit holes and best time to spot them is around dawn and dusk. Leave some of your clothing dotted around where you think they might be,  and also their blankets and some smelly food - pilchards perhaps. If you go aaround the woods around that time of day it is usually quiet and they are out hunting and may hear you call. good luck.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
