Great News ... Rolly is back Home !  I received another call from a lady who had seen my poster and she confirmed the man who had found Rolly did live in the flats by the Fire Station. My wife and i went to the flats and knocked on a few doors, one lady told us that 1 of the doors we had already tried did in fact contain Rolly. I returned to the flat and told the person there that i knew my dog was inside. The woman asked how i knew and addmitted Rolly was there, i was so pleased to see him again. All this just goes to show how effective these posters are for without those i would not have been given the clue of where to look. Thank you so much for all of your help and advice and keep up the great work that you do. I hope all the other people looking for their lost dogs can feel the joy of finding them as i have. Once again a big thank you. Steve.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Briefly spoke to Steve, mobile number now added to posters.  Various size posters now done and emailed to Steve.  If you need anything altering or have problems with them please do not hesitate to let us know. Brilliant news on this sighting, as you say it gives you somewhere to target.  You need to get as many posters up in the area as possible and hand out the smaller ones, also posting them through doors of houses.   GOOD LUCK Fingers crossed Rolly is in the blue soon.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Try printing off A5 leaflets and putting them through the doors in Avalon road and some other roads off there, take a poster into the fire station and the gates to the park. phone the local papers to see if anyone has tried to place an advert. The man that took him may take him back to the park to walk him. Postering the local post office and contact the local postman or milkman for this area. If someone has taken him home in this area then poster  all around the local streets and he should soon be spotted. If he has bee stolen then the more posters you put up the harder it will be to hide the dog. Good luck and if I can help I will. I recently had my dog stolen and luckily got her back, it is hard work but it payed off for us.

Hi,   Had a phone call from a lady who recognised Rolly as the dog that a man had found .... he was asking in the park carpark if anyone had lost a dog .... he said he would take it home and place an add in the local paper .... he told this lady he lived close to Orpington Fire Station .... so anyone who knows this area please keep an eye open for Rolly... thank you ..... one other point the lady said the man had an irish accent.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi,  Thanks for your replies, Rolly went missing from Godington park at about 5:30 pm on Wednesday 27th . A lady did say that on her way into the park she saw a man who had said he had found a dog. I have registed Rolly as missing with Battersea dogs home and the local Dog wardens, so lets just hope if someone has found him they get in touch with someone soon.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Dogs usually go back to the point where they went missing, so please check back in the park - perhaps you could leave an item of clothing that he would recognise the smell of, this may help to keep him in the area.   Good luck with the search, stay safe Rolly, lovely boy xx

Steve, sorry to see Rolly is missing.  Thanks for registering and putting his details on DL and uploading a photo, we will do all we can to help you in your search for him.   You need to poster poster poster the area as much as possible.  You can print them by selecting Dog Poster 1 just above Dog Information (you must be logged in to see poster).  Do please update us on exactly which park he went missing from and who has been contacted ie DW’s etc.  You can leave a comment by selecting   Add a comment   just above other comments,  Good luck and hope he is found soon.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
