Thanks Jarvis cocker it is not Oliver, I've just uploaded the photo on the found puppy, great you crossed matched them.  Oliver will be about 20 weeks now, he is still missing, there have been no sightings at all of him, owners did put him in the papers.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

You poor thing you must be devastated.  Just a thought, pass a couple of posters to the postman and ask him to display in the sorting office and pass the word via the other posties - these folk will cover a huge area. Good luck hope Oliver comes home soon xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sam, welcome on board DL and thanks for registering so quickly and leaving an update.  Sorry to see your lovely boy has been stolen, you are doing a grand job getting the word out and you need to get them posters everywhere.  Media coverage is another brilliant way to get Oliver's little face seen.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi, so far we have put the story in two local newspapers, it is being anounced on two local radio stations, i have posted him on various lost dog websites on the internet, i have let 200 of my friends know using the internet, the dog warden has been notified aswell as the police being involved, i have received posters which i am beggining to put up and generally the word is getting around our local area due to our family spreading the word at work etc. Thanks for all of your help so far SamLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have spoken to family, given advice of where to look out for a puppy being sold.  They have a CRIME number from the police.  Smaller posters and a large poster done and emailed to family and also further information on what to do.  Have asked them to register and leave us an update.  If anyone is able to help with the postering and wants the smaller posters please let us know.  We have got to make this little feller too hot to handle.  Good luck and hope to see him in the blue soon.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have spoken to Sonia (Olivers owner) and given advice about where to display posters, to pass to refuse collectors, window cleaners etc. He's been mentioned on the local radio and Sonia is in the process of asking local newspapers to run a story. He was definitely stolen as he was sleeping outside in a shed/kennel and as he's only a puppy didn't have the weight behind him to open the door and sneak out. Sonia and Sam are devastated by the theft. Could anyone in the Cumbria area offer help as I'm unfortunately too far away. Thanks, Vicki Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
