Unfortunately this is not Tessa. It is a cross Border Terrier and is very dark almost black. Thanks for the contact though Steph.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Please owners post a picture on the site. It is so important as the message and description of your dog needs to be out there and not just on here. I know that you think that there's not much chance of finding your dog now, but if you read some of the reunited stories you will find that sometimes that miracles do happen. Never give up.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Owner requested call back as details were wrong. Have spoken with owner and altered the details with her. The dogs name was not Jessie as originally entered but TESSA. Unfortunately she has not yet been found. Have given advice as to the best way to proceed and hopefully a photo will wing its way to us soon. Stay safe Tessa baby, until we find you x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hello flaxlandblue, glad to hear from you. It was me who put your dog on the site, I remember your lovely little dog from the fun evening with Sue Refell. I was so upset to hear what had happened and wanted to get her on the site quickly because Dog Lost helpers can really help to find missing dogs. There are a lot of helpers out there and the information can reach a very long way, lots of eyes and ears and helpers will help you spread posters around a larger area. If you can get a photo on the site, this can be e-mailed to helpers in and around the area and the poster can be downloaded and printed from the site. Please also check the information about your dog and put in as much detail as you can and correct any detail that might not be correct. Very best wishes. I will keep in contact.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hello.  This is our dog which someone very kindly put here on doglost whilst we were on holiday.  Actually as a new dog owner it is only today - 7th Sept that I became aware this site existed and feel disappointed with myself I have left it so long.
Tessa went missing on Friday 18th July at 14.55 whilst following me out to the garage.  We searched all evening and the following day so I feel sure she was picked up.  She was one year old on the day she was taken and is quite small for her breed and has been closely stripped.  Her distinctive markings include a white patch on her chest and an odd, almost racoon like ring of grey wirey hair around the base of her tail.
Her name is Tessa and she was wearing her collar with our number. Although we were on holiday the phone was diverted and we had no news.  We have tried all the local kennels for strays, all the vets and checked with local farms and houses to no avail.  Lots of posters up too!  I will try and add some photos where her markings can been seen.  Thank you so much to everyone who is looking out for both my dog and others.

I am afraid that there is still no news from the owners and as time is of the essence it is frustrating not to be able to start the search. Perhaps they are still away. Hopefully they will be in contact soon.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Unfortunately I have only just been informed that this dog has gone missing. I have only third hand information so some details might not be entirely correct as yet to be confirmed with owners. The actual area missing from we think is Garlinge Green. This dog does have a distinguishing mark of a grey patch or grey hair on top of head (we think). Hopefully when owners get back there will be a message on their phone that the dog has been found. If not, I will update the details and get a photo as soon as pos.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
