Just spoken to Eileen for a quick update and there was lots of confusion as to when Cocoa went missing due to two bereavements in the family close together. Cocoa did not have a collar on when she disappeared. There were sightings of Cocoa in the first week she went missing but each one has been followed up to no avail. Eileen's son in law was looking after the dog at his house in Droylsden when she went missing. However, Eileen lives in Newton Heath. Her son in law is absolutely devastated and there is a reward for Cocoa's return. Thousands of posters have been printed and Eileen continues to visit dogs homes and sanctuaries in the area weekly. Radio stations have been contacted and although they were very sympathetic they are not allowed to advertise missing dogs. I really hope all of this family's hard work pays off and Cocoa's in re-united safely PDQ I will contact Eileen again in a couple of days time for another update Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

So sorry to see Cocoa is missing. Thank you for registering with Doglost. We will do all we can to help you get her back. Your poster can be printed off now. Where it says 'Dog poster 1' towards top left of page, click on that, and it will open up for you. get as many posters up as quickly as you can, both in the area she was last seen, and at places where lots of people go, such as supermarkets, markets, take away shops, newsagents, pubs  etc. Also be sure to give notify all local dog wardens, dog pounds, animal shelters, and vets in case Cocoa is picked up and handed in. The more posters, the more chance of getting Cocoa home quickly. Place them in clear plastic sleeves with the opening at the bottom to protect them from the weather. Hand posters out in all local dog walking areas, and inform all neighbours. Dont forget to visit dog pounds every few days, as dogs can be re-homed after only seven days. Give posters to taxi rank offices, and postmen and ask them to display one at the sorting office. Good luck with your search. Stay safe  Cocoa xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
