Has the poor dog that was scavenging been picked up or was this possibly Stella ? They may well be lost as well, or certainly in need of a home !  Great news that Stella is home !

I'm wondering if this is the dog seen scavenging in dustbin bags in St Margarets Street, Rochester - ie nearish the top of Shorts Way - Borstal Street. Someone who lives at the top of  St Margarets Street has just commented on this lovely pedigree dog wearing a collar. Unfortunately he's not a doggie person so couldn't get more than that out of him, but it would be worth while postering Priestfields re creation ground, Borstal shops and St Margarets' Street. My patch so eyes are peeled Sylv xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Print off the poster from this site and poster everywhere, especially near where Stella went missing.   Also check back there, they usually return.   Contact dog warden and visit rescue centres/kennels regularly, in person, don't rely on phone calls as they often don't match descriptions with the dogs they have in.   Great that she's chipped, that and her tag, and postering will be her best way home.   Good luck with the search, stay safe Stella xx
