Ok forget that I've just had it confirmed by someone else who sighted dog on tooting common fb group that it was definitely black.

There was one sighted on Tooting Common this morning, post was added to the dogs of tooting common fb group, but was described firstly as mastiff then bulldog... also described as black with white on chest and also thought to be blind in one eye. The description came from a man who had managed to grab dog but let go for fear of being bitten. A few of us have been out searching but no sign... last sighted by the man heading across Tooting Bec road in the direction of Furzedown. I spoke to one of our local dog walkers on the common, who had spoken to the man and she said he didn't seem to be sure of breed... but I thought it was worth mentioning. None of us are aware of dog of that description in our area but we are hoping it has found own way home. I'm sure we will be alerted soon to further sightings if poor babe is still straying around common as there is always a high volume of public.

Noticed there is GUS and ZEUS missing from same area, have shared both to same groups, hope owner finds them soon (presume same owner for both?) and please contact Battersea, Lewisham dog warden and local vets
