Thanks Vickie. If she has been seen heading towards Littleborough then it is feasable that she may be heading towards Todmorden too so I'll definately watch out for her this way. I think that it is definately worth postering over here and maybe around Walsden too. I would warn you to be careful about where you put the posters though as some councils have a zero tolerance approach to it. Quite often putting them on telegraph poles, which are not council owned, rather than lamp-posts for instance is a better idea. Penny. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

hi, thank you to everyone who is helping in the search for my dog. i am currently in the process of distributing flyers and posters. Izzy was last seen on saturday 3rd may, heading towards littlebourgh, on halifax/new road. i have been in touch with the surrounding councils. she does not have a collar on as her collar is attached to an elizabethan protection collar, she had an opperation on her back, right paw a few weeks ago. the paw has heeled, but she was suppost to wear the collar untill monday. thanks vickieLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi. I know that this must be an incredibly distressing time for the owners but it would be helpful if they could post on this page so that volunteers know what has been done so far - ie: where has been postered and flyered - and can be told what the owners would like them to do to help find Izzy. HI am in Bradford but what a beautiful dog and she has very distinctive markings. Obviously I will keep my eyes out in case she appears in this area but hope it's not necessary and she is home soon xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi. I live in Todmorden and will be happy to poster this area if Izzy is sighted over here. Can't do too much at the moment I'm afraid as I am involved in the hunt for Freddie (WF4) who is my mum's dog. Have the owners started postering the area and putting flyers through people's doors? This really is the best thing to start on asap - it's where all our sightings of Freddie have come from. Good luck and I'll keep an eye on Izzy's page to see if there's anything I can do to help.
