- I have phoned the original poster. This dog was seen at 10 a.m. running across the junction where Cannon Lane meets Hitchin Road. The dog ran straight up the dual carriageway heading for Hitchin. A couple in a black car with red flashing then stopped me 15 minutes later in Butterfield Green road and they told me that they had followed the dog down the dual carriageway but were unable to coax it to them. They managed to stop the traffic and the dog then ran across the road in the direction of Lilley.
