Oh how sad. So sorry to hear about Max Nightie, night Max, sleep tight, and have fun with my cat who died recently. RIP+ God Bless x A~~~~Candle~~~burns for you Max. Run free (HUG) x One day when the time is right, you will meet Max at the bridge. Forever together. Now in the arms of an Angel, surrounded by love. To help ease your pain , you could put Max on Cat Protection`s Wall of Memory for a small donation if you wanted to. This is what I have done with my cat. If you don`t want others to read your memories of Max, you can choose a private memory, where you have a password, so only you can access it. I also have a memory box for my cat too,
God Bless, and (((HUGS)))=

Dear Nicki Thank you so much for taking the trouble to let us know about the cat you saw by the side of the road opposite The Bowl. Very sadly it was our Max and, while it was devastating for me to see what I saw, it gave me the opportunity to take him to the vet, confirm that it was him and give him a decent send off. Best wishes Clive Parker

Karen - So so sorry to hear the news about Max. At least you have the closure and you no longer have to search and wonder what happened to him. My own lovely cat has gone to rainbow bridge this week so hopefully they will meet up and have fun with the other furbabies x x x

We are heartbroken. It was Max and we are devastated. But we are so glad you were and so thankful that you let us know and we have closure. We can bring him to rest in peace x

It is sadly so near us. My husband has gone out now to look. Do you have a more precise location

Hi Karen, have seen a black cat at the road side :( just past the entrance for furzton lake on watling street opposite the bowl but was unable to stop. Praying it's not Max xx
Karen
Thanks for all your help. We’ve put up posters. Including the local shop. Put a blanket on the line and just walked round doused in the husbands after shave. Going to go out again in a bit.

Check all outbuildings, including empty houses. Check THOROUGHLY, as some cats will hide in, or behind an object within, especially if timid. Empty contents of the hoover onto the garden, as his scent will be there. Put some tuna, or warm chicken in his dish, and call him; night/early morning is best. Rattle some treats too. Pace his UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, along with your scent too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot, or hang on the washing line if dry; used towels too. Wipe his scent on your garden fences, gates, doors too; anything leading up to the garden. Try a squeaky toy, as it may attract his attention. Walk around the area, holding an object with his scent on, and rattle some Dreamies. Someone may be feeding him maybe? It maybe that when the thunderstorm came. and he ran off could have become disorientated, and "Lost" or he is hiding somewhere. Check behind hedges/bushes too. When it`s nightfall, and you are searching, use strong torch, as it will reflect a cats eyes. When doing this, wear the same deodorant, say that you use on day to day basis, as Max will recognize the scent, or, and take with you an air freshener which you use regularly, as it should remind him of his home comforts. I think the best chance of finding Max is when it`s dark, as he is more likely to come out of his "Hidey Hole" if your around then, as your the one he trusts. Poster around the area, and post flyers through door to Ask around, especially those with children, as they can be very observant . Hope Max is home soon. Paws xd.
