I’ve posted in Cheddar mums Facebook group.

I also live at the bottom of the gorge, so will keep my eyes peeled for you.
koalababe
Ok. Will go up there around 3.30pm today for a couple of hours and go to areas you haven't covered looking at your map.
AustenK
Yes, that's the gate. It has a missing poster on it now. GTH sign has gone.
koalababe
On Google maps is it the gate with the red GTH sign on it? I appreciate this may have gone now but just want to be sure I have the right gate and I'm in the right place?
AustenK
It’s up the track leading up right opposite Wellington farm through the iron gate and up to the right. You can Pull in by the gate.
AustenK
I am overwhelmed by the response to this post and my heartfelt thanks goes out to you all.
Ralph also answers to Ralphie went missing Saturday PM at the Head of the Gorge on the opposite side of the valley to Wellington farm, he was wearing a long lead and we lost him as we walk up the track to the right he went into the steep woods near the 2nd gate from the road gate.
Ralph is full of fun and the only thing is he will jump up to you in fun and if allowed will lick you all over!
Once again a big thank you to all, Austen And Ruth Ralph's owners.
AustenK
Hi Koalababe, it's a bit further up the gorge than this, we think barking was heard nearer to the Nature Reserve yesterday evening. We parked further up cliff road, the next pull in on the right from the national trust post. There's more information on the post on the Border Terrier Lost & Found facebook group https://www.facebook.com/groups/1392586157717905 including maps
koalababe
Is Ralph still attached to his lead so possibly caught up?
koalababe
I can also search later today with my Border. Where is it best to park & then walk? Is it the Black Rock car park on Cliff Road & then path that heads towards the West Mendip way path that then heads back down the gorge to Jacobs Ladder?

Sorry to see that Ralph is missing in the cheddar area and I have contacted his owner.

Andrea - thank you the coordinates are in the pink part of the page above.

Thank you all of team Cheddar so far....
Andrea
Have shared via Facebook in Radstock area, I do hope he’s found soon. Where exactly did he go missing as I am more than willing to take a trip there with my border tomorrow to help with search, just need to know what area as big space. Make sure you leave a coat with your smell on it where he got lost with food and water. I really feel for you, stay positive.

Really sorry to hear Ralph is missing. My heart goes out to you. We live fairly local to Cheddar and have just been out there with our two dogs to look for him but no sign unfortunately. Keeping everything crossed for you and don’t give up hope - I’m sure he’ll be found soon xxx
AustenK
Thanks so much everyone, we checked most of the fences in the area and couldn't see him, hopefully we'll find him soon
Granny
I've spent a few hours up there and there is a place where I could hear a terrier-type barking. No houses nearby and off the tourist route. Unfortunately the wind was swirling too much to get a fix on the sound. I will be back up there in the morning.

I have shared with DL FB Group, Twitter & Public. I hope that Ralph is safely back at home soon.X

I'll be up there in about an hour and will alert the Gorge staff if no-one has yet done so.
