I've called the numbers on the poster but no one has returned calls. To alert of a similar looking dog being sold in a "job lot" by travellers. This dog does not look young as he's describing. I messaged the number to seek to buy these dogs but no response. I feel this dog could be altered in appearance given the length of time. The dog looks so sad. I'm hoping he'll respond to my text but no joy as yet.

It is Selby Game Fair at Carlton Towers this weekend - 21/22/23/24 March - very popular with lots of dog people from a wide area - it must be worth getting some posters there or a stand with all the missing dogs on or something. Doglost admin may be able to advise best approach. Got these contact details of a flyer through our door. It is a SGF Ltd Organised Event - Tel: 01205 871354 / Mobile 07970 489605. For Trader Booking please visit their website - www.selbygamefair.co.uk. Am absolutely snowed under at work this week and have printer probs but would be available Fri am (good Friday) if any help needed to hand out flyers/posters at the event. I have today taken a list of all the dogs missing in the Yorkshire area and emailed the list to YEP & YP, Calendar, Look North, Radio Leeds and the Paul O Grady Show (thank you to hopeithelps for this suggestion). 32 dogs missing since 1st Feb 2008!!!! I am hoping that by lisiting them all individually it will make them sit up and take notice. If we all do the same hopefully we can get someone to take notice!!!!!!!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

In the Selby Times this week there was a couple of lines saying that 9 puppies were stolen from West Haddlesey ? said they were worth ?2750 and included 2 Jack Russell breeds (?not sure what they mean by that). West Haddlesey is just off the A19 only a few miles south of J34(I think) of M62. Yet more pups going missing in this area.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sorry you have had no sightings of Holly and Coco as yet. My Hubby is a postman/driver at Seacroft Depot and delivers parcels to Shadwell. He says it's a very good idea to contact the delivery office with posters and, any other public services, as these people do cover a lot of ground. And if someone has a new dog!! they would probably know about it! He will definitely be keeping an eye out on his deliveries, in both Shadwell and Barwick where Meg and Pepper are missing also. Hope your soon reunited with your babies!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Suggest you could also give posters to schools and / or poster outside schools as children are very good at spotting dogs. Milkman and taxi drivers also get around.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Chick! How did you get on this afternoon with your listening device?? Any luck? We have been all over again today putting posters up. I just wanted to let you know that I have done a mail shot to all the vets and petshops tonight. We are heading out to Temple Newsham and Lotherton Hall tomorrow so will distribute around there. I did have a thought about grooming parlors as well - do you think that that is a step too far?? Also had feedback from some of the rescue homes I emailed - they have put our posters up and wished us good luck! Posters will stay up until we notify them that the dogs have been found. The other thing I thought of was would it be worth asking the Royal Mail sorting office to display them and also the refuse - bin men and postmen tend to get about! Finally, I have managed to persuade people (well, friends and family at least!) to display copies of the posters in their cars - mobile advertising! take carexx speak soonxxxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

megan&pepper, thanks for posting on Coco's page. Do team up with owners of others in the area and combine your searches and postering. Any publicity you can get will help locate them. Jan x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi there! I am the owner of the border terrier puppy (17 weeks old) an the 12 year old Jack Russell that went missing in Leeds 15 (Barwick in Elmet) - we think we might have been able to get our dogs mentioned on Radio Aire (although still waiting for final confirmation) but do you thnk it would be worth getting in touch with local television (calendar/look north) as there is obviously something going on in the leeds area for all these babes to be going missing - would you be willing to join us - we are of the opinion that the more publicity we get the quicker we will get our dogs back. Reply soon XXXLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks. I have been trawling internet sites everyday. We have been out looking in the area they disappeared and put posters up in shops, garages and on the rural walks in the area. Everyone has been great helping us but we are going out of our mind with worry for them and dont know what else we should be doing . These two girls are our lives and its very distressing as you are all aware. We are putting some notices in local papers to raise awareness too. It just doesnt make any sense.
