nicolapicola I don`t do facebook at all either, I`m just looking at the photo here on the page, I haven`t seen any CCTV, there`s just something about this photo, as if I`ve seen it before! Just looked back on reunited pages to page 80, but I will try google search when I get more time :-)

I don`t know if I am imagining it but the woman on CCTV looks similar to another CCTV image of a dog being taken a year or so ago, possibly from a rescue centre. Whoever she is I would lay bets she has done this sort of thing before, it takes gall to do this is a public place. I`m going to look back at some images when I can and see if I can match her from the photo. Glad lovely Bella is safe now, I think wherever you are nowadays it`s not secure to leave a dog in the car for any length of time unless you can actually see the car from wherever you are. Sad world isn`t it :-(

So so happy for you all. Bella loves you so much! Keep her very close. There are many people out there that would steal her from you in a heartbeat. Please think seriously about having her ears tattooed, not just one but both. The video of your reunion is beautiful, your love for each other as family shows...xx

thief clearly recognisable from cctv - but will she be found? if anyone has news it would be really great if they could put on doglost - as i am sure lots of people would love to know. such a happy ending............

Bella certainly knows Her Family, She must wonder where they wen t, who that woman with unfamiliar scents was, who that woman who fed her the wrong food which gave her a poorly tummy was !

Yes, Millypod, Twitter is buzzing too !
It always helps when the Local Police Force Post CCTV, Photos, Details on their Facebook & / or Twitter pages doesn't it - It helps spread the word in the local area & beyond .
I just wish that MORE Forces would follow their lead, I often message , Tweet to police with No response .

Someone on the Facebook page has pointed out the similarities of this case and that of Frank DogID 88559, also a French Bulldog who disappeared from another tourist destination, Stonehenge not so far from Beaulieu. Definitely worth checking the team who found Frank, it may help lead to the woman who’s taken Bella.

I gather Bella was stolen from an area reserved for dogs...I hope Beaulieu are reviewing their procedures here...it should be supervised otherwise it is a dog thief's paradise! Hope someone recognises the shameless woman who helped herself to someone else's pet.

Police have confirmed the dog seen over the last couple of days advertised on Pets4homes and on Gumtree is not Bella . Please do keep checking though everyone

AS suggested by Nathalie, I have just looked at the Gumtree advert and the FB for sale in Botley looks remarkably similar and was only posted 2 days ago. It would definitely be worth the owners coming back to have a look at this one.

Have a look at Gumtree, French bulldog Hampshire. There’s a very similar dog for sale, posted an hour ago. I hope you’ll find her very very soon.

Where you there 1st April at that time, please look at any photographs, dash cam recordings, anything which may identify the woman with this dog.

Warden and Police are aware and advised to contact chip company (struggling to do this at the moment but will persevere). Beaulieu are aware and are checking CCTV. Suggested registering on Gumtree and contacting the insurance company if she is insured. People are sharing and tweeting and I have emailed local vets to alert them.
Please do the right thing if you have Bella or know who has her, her family are devastated
