I have contacted Petlog who have been very helpful . They have tracked the details from the address given and have now marked Portia as missing. They have put notes of circumstances - a note of the doglost ID so if found and scanned petlog would be able to advise them who to contact.

Good idea with the Facebook group. Someone spotted her near the petrol station in Cressex going up Marlow Hill Road. Maybe try the Waitrose before she gets to the M40. If spotted don't spook her. Best to take a crisp packet to crinkle and leave food down so that she comes to you. Whippets are already quite a nervous breed.

This is certainly a distance from Downley in the short space of time! If this was Portia the hospital grounds should be checked and at least a few posters put up there! Also the school could benefit from some posters being put up.

I posted this on Facebook and someone saw a dog fitting her description in the Cressex business park. Good to cover a wider search area just in case. If anyone works there please take a look around. Posted 02/04/18: "We saw her on the Cressex industrial estate at about 1400 this afternoon, my wife tried to catch her as we had our dogs lead in the car, she ran up an alleyway and wouldn’t come back when we called her." Notified owner of sighting.

Try putting posters in cars. Posters in post boxes for postmen to take back to the sorting office. Ask taxi firms to keep a look out.

This was posted on Facebook earlier by Rachel Rowley - My other half found this dog this morning on his way to work. He was sleeping in the alley way by Morrison's. He tried to get him but the dog fled and is now along the area of Bellfield Road by ABC storage and the Ceramic Tile Company. I haven't seen him run past the back (I over look the warehouses) so has to still be in the area. He had a collar with bones on. If anyone knows the owners please let them know.

ust seen a small greyhound type dog wearing a collar running along the middle of the road from the park at the bottom of Coates Lane through the Hughenden retirement village towards Morrisons. We turned the car round to try and catch up with it, but it had disappeared by the time we did. Just thought I would put this on here in case anyone knows of someone who may have lost a dog like this. Hopefully someone will catch hold of it soon. ☹️ posted yesterday on wycombe lost and found

This girl is still chipped to her deceased owner's address - I have the full details if anyone finds her and scans or she ends up with Wardens - Acton W3 is where she lived before this week.
