- Other Info Chocolate burmese. Extremely friendly and NOTORIOUS for getting into vehicles, so huge possibility she has jumped into a vehicle and ended up elsewhere in York or further afield. Can't rule out she could be trapped in a house/outbuilding in the village of someone away, but having done a 1000 leaflet drop, searched and called out over and over, there have been no sightings of her. Was wearing a pink heart shaped tag. Microchipped.

- Sighting in Haxby didn't come to anything. Did manage to have a bit more media coverage including at the very supportive Minster FM https://www.minsterfm.com/news/local/2540956/video---desperate-search-for-poppy/ please share......desperate to find her.

- Presume checked all outbuildings, including empty houses, and cellars, in case shut in. ALWAYS take a SECOND LOOK as some cats will hide in, or behind objects within, especially if timid. Put scented items of Poppy`s in the garden (UNWASHED BLANKET) along with your scent too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot, or hang on the washing line if dry; used towels too. Try a squeaky toy in case she is around as it may attract her attention. Walk around the area holding an object with her scent on, and rattle some Dreamies. Someone may be feeding her, especially as she is a friendly girl. As well as posters, ask those with children as they can be very observant, and they may have noticed something. As Poppy is notorious in climbing into vehicles, I would also post a LOST CAT ad in a National newspaper. Ask friends, and neighbours to share as well as DL. Hope Poppy is home soon. Paws xd.

- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
