- Tarka was on home trial with her prospective home. She has gone back to her rescue. Thankfully she survived her ordeal and will remain under the safety and care of her rescue which isn’t kennel based.

- Claire Gresty I think Tarka had been added again as she had moved into a completely different area and to get passed onto people in that area but she has been seen again tonight coming back this way now so hopefully she will stay around Stockport for now xx

- Keep an eye on the posters you post
They have a habit of being removed
Maybe by the council I am not sure
Fingers crossed - 2018-03-23 21:58 Dorelle
- I have stuck Tarkas missing posters up on Roads she had possibly been sighted. They are protected from rain in polythene bags and cellotaped round trees, lamp posts and bollards. I wish I had printed off tear off strips with the contact number on. There realky needs to be more posters put up. Everything crossed Tarka is found safe and well very soon x

- Tarka is from Bulgaria - she isn’t feral but she is timid and very frightened of cars. She’s not a dog that would cope with traffic.

- Thanks for updating the post Rhona. I thought it would be for scenting. It was strewn over the banking when I went past this afternoon and when I have just passed coming back I couldn't see anything but it was dark and there was a car right behind so I couldn't stop. Are all these sightings Tarka as Cale Green to Romiley back to Nangreave Rd then Bean Leech is some distance and given when she was missing the Romiley one sounds a bit of a red herring? Is she from UK or abroad and is she most used to streets or the farmland? I live on the edge of the estate nearest where you left the bed so tonight I will leave her some food and sardines in case she is still around. Hopefully it will tempt her to stay around and show herself. Fingers crossed as it's cold and lonely out there xxLast edited: 2018-03-22 20:16:29 by Marbie

- I left the dog bed and accesories near Bean leech to try and attract her back as thus was the last place she had been sighted. It is indeed some way from Cale Green where I live and where the lovely and timid Tarka had lived with me for only 2 weeks since I adopted her. She is a clever girl and I hope she is keeping herself safe and we will be reunited soon Her microchip details will still be for Dogs 4 rescue from where I adopted her

- SK6 3AA is Romiley? That's a way off from Cale Green. I found an animal bed and accessories on the banking near me tonight - Bean Leech - and was told a dog is running loose on the estate and they thought it was Tarka. Sorry but there isn't much of an update on here and no mention of Bean Leech so could someone who has access to more info please update? Not that you don't know SimonH only it's the areas as they are all so far away from one another. I will keep an eye out round here too although I haven't actually seen a stray wandering round and there are a lot of dogs use the field. Hope Tarka is staying safe wherever she is xLast edited: 2018-03-22 01:19:30 by Marbie
