Found a way away and says not chipped, but we had this posted to Doglost Surrey yesterday. Could well be the same one GillyP has posted, but just in case not:

FOUND - Brindle young male crossbreed, medium size, handed into the emergency vets in East MOlesey - NO chip, collar but NO tag. Dog Warden informed
