Tara cat
Tara was sighted in a garden not far from where she had her accident, at the height of The Beast from the East weather. I was away in Australia by that time (3 weeks after she'd gone missing!), so my daughter borrowed a cat trap from Capricorn Rescue Centre and caught her in the garden the same evening. She had lost 1kg in weight, has some broken teeth and damaged pads on her paws but otherwise ok. She is now recovering at home, eating loads, and getting lots of TLC. She's not allowed out though!!
Thank you for your advice and kind comments. xx

Check behind bushes/hedges becasue that`s where cats usually hide when injured as Tara was. Check all outbuildings too just in case. As Tara is deaf it will be all about scent of course. when you are looking for her, use the same deodorant say that you use on a day to day basis, as she will recognioze the scent And your the one she trusts. Or/and you could take an air freshner which you normally use. It should remind her of her home (Familiatr territory) and give comfort When it is nightfall, and you are srarching, use a strong torch as the liught will reflect a cat`s eyes. Put her unwashed blanket ino a clean container, along with your scent too. Leave in the gasrden
in a sheltered spot, and also wipe her scent on your garden fences, gates doors: anything lesding up to the garden. Poster around the area, and put flyers through doors too. Hope Tara is home soon. Paws xd.
