- Bear has been found. My wife went to Virginia Water car park, first thing and he was there. Must have slept under the trees. None the worse for the experience. Thank you for all your help and support on this.

- Thanks for posting this. I'm Bear's owner. I believe he has probably gone to ground in the Great Park (the park warden has been notified). The places he is most familiar with are Virginia Water car park and the car park near Blacknest gate. I'm planning to there first thing. If anyone happens to be in the vicinity, if you could keep an eye out that will be really appreciated. He has a tag with phone numbers on. He's are very placid dog and very approachable.
