Thank you for all your help.Oscar is back!!!
Kelly85
Thank you I will do that!I will be out searching again today.I have a terrible feeling he is trapped somwhere near to me as not a single person has come back to me from my flyer dropping.

Doglost have advised me to put a poster in the local sorting office which I will do today.Fingers crossed I get him home.

When searching use the same deodorant say that you use on a day to day basis, as he will recognize the scent. You are NOT letting Oscar down when you are doing all you can to find him. Consider posting a LOST CAT in a National newspaper too. ask friends, and neighbours to share as well as DL Paws xd..Last edited: 2018-01-04 20:34:59

Hi there thank you for all your advice I have done the following and had no luck.

Put litter tray out back door and his bed
Emptied hoover bag onto grass
Checked the woodland
Knocked on doors
Posted on fb selling sites, pre loved,Gumtree,Animal Search uk,on here, and critter alert.
Posted flyers and put up posters
Called the vets and posted on fb pages for local rescue and RSPCA.
Logged as potential theft,I felt I had no other choice.I'm desperate for just one lead on my beautiful boy..I feel like I'm letting him down when he helped me through so much. Can't describe how bad I feel.
Thanks again.

Have you checked all outbuildings including empty houses, and cellars in case shut in?. Always take a second look. Put somje tuna or chicken in his dish, and call him; night/early morning is best. Rattle some treats too/ Put his unwashed blanket into a clean container, along with your scent too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot, or hang on the washing line if dry; used towels too. Wipe his scent on your garden fences, gates, doors too. Try a squeaky toy as it may attract his attention. Walk around the area holding an object with his scent on, and rattle someone may be feeding him (Common problem) When it is nightfall, and you are searching use a strong torch as the light will reflect a cats eyes
Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Paws xd.
