  • Other Info Only about 5kg, superb with dogs. A little shy but will let you pick her up and carry her. Chipped but wasnt wearing a collar with ID as was at home. Got out through the tiniest hole in the garden we didnt even know we had and we've been here 3 years so possibly made by her as she kept on going in and out of the house/garden. Dog warden notified. Local Vet which is open on Sun also notified. Battersea dogs home notified. House on Priory Road but garden backs onto Canterbury Road Recreation Ground.

Wonderful news Shepples - crossposting from Golly's FB page "She’s home!!!
So, one of our wonderful volunteers - Maren Dallmann spotted her IN THE DARK - outside a house on Canterbury Road hiding under a car. That’s literally a few metres from her house! Maren called Jovana who sprinted over with Ross, and they coaxed her out from under the car!
She’s spent the last ten minutes playing zoomies up and down the stairs and round the living room! So it seems safe to say she’s happy to be home!!!
We cannot possibly thank you all enough for the caring and sharing!! We really were t sure how we’d ever find such a little pipsqueak in such an urban area!
Now, if you happen to pass a poster please pull it down!
Thank thank THAAAAANK YOU ALL for the support!! We are looking forward to a very good sleep!!"

Hopefully she'll be home soon, but if she's still missing on Monday, I would be very happy to walk my dog in the area, armed with tasty treats, in the hope of spotting her.

@candycat The man who saw her was driving along the road and initially thought she was a cat. She was crossing the road. Once he realised it was a dog he went to get her but couldn’t find her as he’d lost time parking/turning around. She wasn’t in distress.
candycat
hi what happens when she is 'spotted' does she run off before she can be caught?
Hollieberry
Is it possible that she knows her way home from Stanley road ? Fingers crossed she is found soon its too cold for such a little girl .
Shepples
SIGHTING Golly seen in Stanley Road around 10pm last night. She was 0.2 miles from home.
Jovana
Spotted last night on Stanley road at 10pm! Anyone near by to help search? The more eyes the better. She was 0.2 miles away from home
Jovana
@candycat thank you for looking for her. She could be anywhere. I very much doubt she's hiding on the roundabout in the bushes, there are much safer and cosier places. Half open garages, alleyways, gardens etc there is chicken all over the place, water... Cars are a huge concern because she's so tiny and because she's black so not easily spotted in the dark. :( Just got home from walking aimlessly all over the place. At this point, we just need a sighting :( Thank you again!
candycat
hi for the last two nights I have driven home very late (2am) and gone up and down the roads nearby. I cant believe she has disappeared, especially as she is microchipped . is there any chance she could be hiding on he Lombard roundabout? it is covered in hedges plenty of places to hide. I didn't dare check in case she was there and I scared her out? would she cross roads? late at night it is very quiet.
Jovana
She was spotted on Monday morning at 9ish on Wentworth road which is road parallel to the one she lives on. Person who spotted her couldnt reach her and reported to the dog warden but sadly dog warden was day off and only picked up email today. We have since searched and looked under all cars near by and nothing. We hope she is close by and is just hiding. She's good at being invisible. :(

From Golly's FB page "POSSIBLE SIGHTING MONDAY, 9:30, WENTWORTH ROAD.
An email was sent to dog warden about a small black dog under a black Range Rover.
Is ANYONE in area to walk that road and check under cars? If that was her she is staying close to home and may just be under another car"
Shepples
Still zero sightings. Search party postered around immediate area.
Shepples
Still no sightings. Anyone free to poster area tonight or tomorrow please text number above and come along with a few printed copies of DL poster. We’ve had posters made but may not be there in time for this eve, but we must get her face out there.

@candycat she run off from our garden on priory road, cr0 3qy. She seems to have been busy making a hole which i have now made bigger in case she couldnt get back in the way she has got out. We back onto a small recreational ground behind Broad Green library.
candycat
hi could you narrow down the area where she was lost please...which park was it near?
Jovana
@Shelagh - Area Co-ordinator, East London done already. She is up to date with valid phone numbers etc Hoping someone has her and is waiting to take her to the vet to be scanned on Monday. Only one local vet open today and not easily reached without a car.
Shelagh
