Fantastic! this is proof that if a dog is lost near to home a 24hr watch should be kept. A shut gate at night might cause the dog to wander off again. Welcome home Sophie, will mail the trust now.

Sophie is back. Turned up at 3.00am in the morning at the owners house barking and demanding to come in-smells of fox dung-but back in time for owners birthday!

Have rung my friend who works at the trust. She will tell the land workers and will try to get up there tomorrow. She may go back to where she last saw her owners once she calms down. Hope some kind soul takes her in tonight, it is so wet here.
