Hi Margaret, thought I post this link just in case. It's a rescue in the north east (Sunderland I think) and obviously, you'd expect them to be scanned when they come in, but you never know! They're calling him Micky but no details of breed or whether he's still got all his bits, etc. http://www.pawzforthought.org/pawz/doggallery.asp?index=1 Linz xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Might be worth going down the allotments, both Horden and Blackhall, and handing a few posters out, the guys down there always know what's going on round and about - might also be a possible food source for Neo so if he's been on the scavenge they'll have seen him. Best of luck, hope you find him soon xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Margaret, try postering round the Pentland Close area, if he found his way there once he could do it again! Anyone who has seen him wandering about round there might just need your number to call from a poster. Good luck xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Margaret, do visit any rescues at least once a week in person. Leave a poster with any kennels even the ones that say they scan. Also contact any bordering DW's and police regularly. To read a pm check top of page (You have 0 Private Messages) underneath the green found button, you can leave a message for helpers by Selecting PM next to their name. thankyou rescue_mum for the numbers for the kennels rang those the day after neo went missing. the number 5261829, say they no longer take dogs for easington dog warden and gave me 5292369,registered with these the second number didnt take a description of neo because she said they automatically scanned the dogs, also let peterlee police know who in turn said they would let seaham police know, also phoned the dog warden but haven't heard a thing as yet. we live right on the edge of castle eden dene so he could have gone that way. he has managed to get out before and was found at pentland close in peterlee with a new collar on so somebody must have taken him in, felt a right plank when he managed to get out again but just hope we can find him safe. we have four children who miss him loads. thanks again to all who have posted messages xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Might be worth contacting Castle Eden Dene Wardens at Oakerside Dene Lodge, Stanhope Chase, Peterlee, SR8 1NH, Tel: (0191) 5860004. Don't know which end of Horden Neo lives but if he's gone for a walk along the Dene he may have been spotted by other walkers. Maybe do a bit of "sensible" postering as befits a nature reserve! Sorry all this info is in dribs and drabs, I'm posting as I find it. Linz xxx p.s. Stray Aid open 7 days a week.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Also, contact Low Fallowfield Farm Kennels at South Hetton, this is where dogs picked up in Easington District are taken, Tel 0191 526 1829 or 07932 039647. Sunderland Council Dog Wardens take dogs to Cleadon Kennels 0191 529 2369. Alert all the local vets and get them to put posters up on their noticeboards too. Hope you get good news about Neo soon xxx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Neo's owner, this might be worth checking out - says this dog is currently under Easington Council care, shortly to be transferred to kennels in Coxhoe. Sex of dog unknown at the moment but looks like it's got a wirey tail!! Good luck xxx http://www.strayaid.co.uk/our-animals.html?animal=E369-07&id=231Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Spoken to owner, they are sending a mobile phone picture shortly. There has been no sightings of Neo, DW and Police have been notified, also chip company. Owner said they will register and update us a.s.a.p. Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
