- I have just replied to email with dashcam photograph which also gives exact co-ordinates. I would of thought it was Warwickshire police.
- 2017-10-22 11:02 Eileen
- This junction is more or less on the border of Warwickshire and Worcestershire, but I think it is covered by Warwickshire Police rather than West Mercia police. I've had a look at Warwickhires website and for contact details they recommend calling the non-emergency number 101 - I think I'd do that in the first instance, unless your daughter was given a direct contact number following her accident. This is a dreadful time for you all and I do hope the police can help you.
- 2017-10-22 08:33 Jlhowe2
- Jenny O could you please let me know who this was reported to as we are beside ourselves. Many thanks
- 2017-10-21 22:42 Jenny O
- We passed through junction 3a travelling from the M42 north onto the M40 this morning. There was a deceased dog on the hard shoulder in the central region of the junction by where the police vehicles pull before the traffic merges from the M42. A friend also saw it and made a report this morning. I sincerely hope it was not Alex but it was black and of a size and shape that would match a Labrador cross. As far as I could tell from the other carriage way on the way home, the body appeared to have gone. My heart goes out to the family at this sad and very difficult time x
- 2017-10-21 21:58 Jlhowe2
- I would like to thank you all for help, my daughter is absolutely devastated and worried sick. If it helps the accident took place near junction 3a slip road southbound.
- 2017-10-21 20:04 Eileen
- This is indeed heartbreaking. I am not too far from J3aM42/J17M40 - a very complex junction- it would be hard to know what direction this poor boy would have headed off . It's a large geographic area so any pointers to his possible direction would help for postering. I appreciate this is asking the impossible given the circumstances . Just so want to help to find him.
