- Indoor cats tend to hide close by when they "Escape". He will be feeling very anxious being out of his comfort zone which is indoors with people he trusts; his owners. The door he has access to open wide, and stand aside (Don`t block his entrance) Put some tuna or chicken in his dish, and place it about twice the width of the door. Put his litter tray into the garden if dry, and empty the contents of the vacuum on to the garden, as his scent will be there. Wipe his scent on garden fences etc; anything leading up to the garden. When checking outbuildings make sure he is`nt hiding behind an object within. Cats are excellent at keeping very still. When it is nightfall and your are searching use strong torch as it will reflect cats eyes. Check behind hedges/bushes too. Post flyuers through door. and ask around. Paws xd.
