A red Staffie male has been found in Twickenham twickenham/whitton Found Found: 26/4/08 male staffordshire bull terrier fawn/red, wearing red collar, no tag, not chipped, not castrated. 020 8898 2288 http://www.amissingpet.co.uk/lostandfound.html I think this should be followed up as it does sound very similar to Lenny

If you're getting the vibes of dog napping and white vans... i'd start postering wider. St Albans, Rickmansworth and Hemel Hempstead all very very well known for problems in this respect. Aim for main routes in and out to start with.... any questions, me a pm, i'll do what I can.

If posters are being taken down again it could be a number of reasons, the council for instance, or if they are on trees local people sometimes get upset and remove them if they are pinned or stapled on. If none of those seem feasible, then its a case of keep putting them up again, lots of them!! Barney's & Ozzie's mum you are doing great many thanks. I have sent my details to diamondjools, so if you haven't been contatced already and want some more advice please call. Don't forget to contatc ALL the local rescues regularly at least every 5 days. Lenny has no i.d. and if they don't know about him he will slip through the net. Also take out an advert in the local papers as well as asking if they will print the story. Its a a back up if they have no space for editorials. Sue x

hi there has been dog napping wasnt there an article in bucks free press just before xmas.that was a staff i think.white van comes up alot!!!!continue with posters its the best i found,good luck x

Hi All, we have tried everywhere, there was a white van outside our house moments before Lenny went missing, we have put posters up and two days later they had dissapeared, we now fear this was a dognapping incident, and fear we wont see him again Julie xx

Temple End vets and Croosroads Vet Clinic now have posters. Any news on Lenny? Can't say I've noticed any posters when I've been out and about.

sad to see lenny still in red!!i have no printer at the mo or i would poster up my end of hp13 near the woods at totteridge common.i also put a small poster in my car when amber dissappeared(just a small one so not to obstruct vision)shops in totteridge helpful also.

I've emailed posters to Straid vets at Beaconsfield and Brook House vets in Bourne End. Temple End vet and Crossroads Veterinary Care don't have email addresses, but will display posters or take down all details if you call in. I've also emailed High Wycombe Cricket Club on London Road. Would have done the Rugby Club aswell, but can't find an email address for them. Their phone no is 01494 524407. Would be worth trying as they will attract a lot of people from outside the area.

Lenny's owner - do you live down near The Rye? If so, this would be a good place for you to put up posters - will be seen by lots of dog walkers and people generally enjoying the open space. Maybe Kwik Fit and the pub next door will be willing to display posters? I am trying to obtain email addresses of all local vets. Will email posters to them asap.

I've emailed posters to Chiltern Dog Rescue (Chesham) and Green Meadows Kennels (Chalfont St Giles) - the latter is used by Amersham police for strays. Will start on local vets tomorrow.

Wycombe Council Dog Warden is on 01494 421734. I've just emailed a poster to the Environmental Health Dept. Will get posters out tomorrow, when hopefully it will be a little less windy!!

Try Stokenchurch Dog Rescue first of all. I'll get some posters up on Loudwater/ Flackwell Heath side - pet shop, Kingsmead playing fields etc.

hi i am in hp13 and i have friends in bowerdean rd that will keep a look out!when our staffi amber went missing(identical to lenny)we put posters everywhere and the "new owner"rang me!!! postering is best our local dog warden is also very nice.good luck and i will keep my eyes and ears open.
