Housecats get very anxious when outside their comfort zone which is in their own homes. which is familiar to them. He is probbaly hiding not too far away. Check all outbuildings including empty houses, and cellars in case shut in. Put his blanket (Unwashed) into a clean container, along with your scent too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot. A door where he has access to, open wide, and stand at the side oif the door (Not in the centre) Put some tuna/chicken in his dish, and place it about twice the width of the open door. Rattle some dreamies too. When you see him, I wouldn`t try and grab him, or he may run off again, if anything like my cats buas he is your cat you may know better.. He will be pleased to be home with you, his owner; the person he trusts. Poster around the area, and put flyers through doors too. Paws xd.

Ps maybe try a strong torch with you, if he isn`t home when it is nightfall, as the light will attract a cats eyesLast edited: 2017-06-09 19:54:09
