Have you made a report to Battersea? They usually post to say a report has been made. Have you informed the microchip company he is lost/stolen? Are his chip details up to date? Have you checked with local dog wardens for Lambeth, Croydon and Wandsworth? You are on the cross over for these boroughs.

Has owner checked if the microchip is registered on a UK database?
Contact Streatham Hill Vets too. It is not the nearest but people tend to take stray dogs there if not Foal Farm rescue try them.
