Great news, sorry been away so only just seen Charlie has been reunited

Been meaning to check for a while, so pleased to see that Charlie is home. I sincerely hope that the owner thinks twice about breeding Charlie, they are lovely dogs but there are a lot of Pug's in rescues that no-one wants.

I'd suggest any future potential mating meets are done on neutral territory and not owners home..,and owners do not disclose their address

Been in contact with owner giving advice plus looking for ways to help with information given . Have just had a text from owner to say Charlie is home"!
Emma got a call at 6 saying they were bringing him back which they did about 20 mins ago - police were involved.

Owner has no more details on the female pug, only by appearance. I believe due to the data protection act the vets would not give out any contact details. She has been liaising with the police on the situation.

Okay, was it in their local area that they first met? Does owner have a picture or any more details of the bitch they had? Maybe take picture to local vets in the area to see if they have treated her in the past and then get contact details from there if that's possible?

What about this ad? https://www.gumtree.com/p/dogs/k.c-pug-boy/1226254332 Obviously if someone tries to sell him on they won't use actual picture but description in 3 years unneatured and microchipped and in Essex which isn't too far? The number on the ad is 07985198137. Can owner check if it matches contact details they have? I guess between 4 people they have a few numbers.

Wondering if they had advertised their breeding bitch or put up any wanted studs for breeding online? Is this how owner and them got in contact? That may help locate them? Has anyone tried this? I will look

How awful..Was Charlie stolen directly after the visitors left or a few days later..I think it's very intimidating that four people come to view him and would've felt uneasy..This is the trouble when people you don't know or don't know well enough, come to view dogs, whether it's to view puppies or as with Charlie, a potential breeding match..Hope the Police can locate thieves through details that owner should have of them...Hope Charlie is found very soon! xx
