Have shared on Twitter. Make sure you file a report to Battersea Cat & Dog home, you can do it on their webpage. Call Lambeth dog warden and any surrounding boroughs. Most importantly double check that all the details on the chip are up to date. Contact as many local vets as possible also so they can be on alert for him being brought in. Some of them have Facebook pages ask them to put a link to here on their pages.
I would also contact Lewisham vets as a few dogs missing from our area have been found over that way. No harm in letting their dog warden and any vets know.
Posters do work too.
