Hi Monnie, thanks so much for this but unfortunately it's not Ella. I have left details on their site though just in case she slips through the net. I let the dog wardens know when she went missing so they are supposed to scan the chips if they pick a dog up but you never know if the microchips are still working. It feels like forever since she went missing. We keep on hoping she will just turn up wet tired and muddy - fingers crossed!!
Monnie
Looks like there's a tan and white beagle type at west end kennels...there's only one photo so the dog so I can't see how much white patch is on the dog as it ain't really a great pic of the body just the face. There's white on the face though

Has there been any news at all about Ella?

I live in Parham and walk the fields towards Easton daily so have been keeping an eye out. You may want to put posters up in the Shell garage in Farnham and also drop some in to Glenham Hall (for the gamekeeper). My spaniel has run off twice but got sighting calls from these places. Hang in there. If you get a sighting and need an extra pair of eyes please call me on 01728 723 792 / 07702 593400. All the best, Mark

Hi Jo, Thank you for your offer. Yes she is good with other dogs and usually comes to her name. We went out to Tunstall last night to the area where JulieK said the runners had seen her but no luck spotting her. (Have let the local puppy training group know though). We are going to look over Campsea Ashe way tomorrow hoping she is gradually making her way back here!

I live in Framlingham, I have been keeping a look out. I will walk the field areas from Fram to Parham over the next few days and if you need other areas covered i'm happy to help. Is she ok with other dogs as i'll be out walking mine, always carry a spare lead with me, will keep looking over this area.

If you're getting a dog out there, I can show you where if I'm not at work.

The runners said it had a collar on but they couldn't see a tag. A friend also saw this dog in the same area. I've sent her Ella's picture to see if she recognises her. She said she looked a lot like her own Springer, but heavier. Hope it turns out to be her.
Ella
Thank you JulieK we will go and look in that area tomorrow - it's nearer us than Sutton Hoo (where there was the last sighting) you never know she could be making her way home! Thanks also Skywalker99 I sent them an email yesterday having seen that they were helping someone else with their lost dog

May be unrelated, but when I was walking my dogs this afternoon at Sangalls in Tunstall Forrest, a couple of runners stopped me and asked if I had lost a dog. They had seen a brown and white dog, that they thought was a Springer Spaniel, but they couldn't catch it. It came out of Tunstall Forrest and crossed onto Blaxhall common. They went back to have a look and so did we, but couldn't see it.

Admin
Sorry to see that ELLA is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (110428)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
  • DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
