Just to clarify the owner never gave up looking. Billy has now made his journey to rainbow bridge, run free beautiful boy xx sorry to BJ for your loss, I am glad that you were able to bring him home.

I fear the same but it leaves me heartbroken for Billy nevertheless. I hope he can bring him home in the end.

Billy's owner has messaged me and would like to thank everyone for their help, he wants us to stop searching as he does not believe that Billy is alive but will himself continue to search for Billy's body. I think we should respect his wishes.

Just to confirm Billy is still missing, I think there is confusion with a JR missing Netheravon who has now been found.

Someone on the Amesbury fb page has said they have heard Billy has been found and asked if he is OK. Do you have any update on this?

Sorry haven't had time to update, yes the whole village has been searched by myself and others, I have put up posters, asked owners brother to check chip is up to date as owner away but have also spoken with owner, I have checked with dogwarden and owners have checked with Bath. There is a concern about the lakes and river.

Any further news about Billy ? I'll take a drive out tomorrow with my 2 and see if we can spot him.
