We were up there at 2am this morning when it was really quiet and really bashing through the fields. It rained a lot yesterday..... so hamish was picking up on scent trails, but they were disappearing....(if they were her even) aye there are some rabbit holes etc.... but great advice, so we will be doing this, it sounds like a great idea. As we have still had no sights or phone calls. It's one of two things..... taken or down a hole some where.... thanks again (GeoffA

Jenni68 - you may have already thought of this, but have you tried taking your older Jack Russell back to where Mischca ran off to see if either can pick up the scent of the other (assuming he is OK after his ordeal). Perhaps encourage him to bark in case Mishca recognises him, take her squeaky toy if she has one, and follow the scenting advice on the email I sent.
Also, are there rabbit warrens in the area? Mishca may have tried to investigate and got stuck. A length of hose and a funnel make a good two way calling / listening device. You will need to securely fasten an old pair of tights (eg) over one end to prevent soil blocking the end, and tape the funnel on the other end to call / listen through.

Jenni68 - no problem, I guess there were three of us all trying to reload the photos - no wonder the system was confused :(
Have added the link as comment to Jolene's post on Lost Dogs Glasgow page - which has one of the original pics in the preview panel but it all appears OK when you click on the link. Please check email for further advice. Hope MISHCA is found soon.

I did rotate and re-updated successfully but then they disappeared. Possibly someone else was updating at same time. Look OK now so hopefully all sorted :)
