I asked for more time to put posters up in the locality the dog was found and did this on the 17/10/16. I also visited camp sites and spoke to many people who knew nothing of the dog missing. I also visited the kennels yesterday afternoon 18/10/16 only to find the dog had been moved on. How very sad that a little more time could not have been granted to enable us to find the owner. There could be many reasons why the dog did not have a microchip and after speaking to many vets they don't all work! The dog was in good condition, clean coat, well fed.... I think 7 days to move the dog on is so very wrong. I also feel more discretion could have been made by the kennels and exhausted every avenue at trying to help reunite the dog with its owner. I find this very sad

Esther and Charley the kennels were lovely. Couldn't have helped more if they tried I am sure if she isn't claimed she will be fine xx

Thanks for update Seeks. Sorry it wasn't Pup or any others, But I am sure this lovely girl will have no problem finding her forever home, if no owner comes forward xx

Sorry its not Pup or any of the other known to be lost springers but good that she seems to be in a good kennel

We rang this lovely kennel. They were so helpful and sent extra pics which confirmed she really isn't PUp.... OR Cassie, Ibby, Kez, Sally, or any we recognize.....

She is in a very good kennel and if not claimed I think she will be fine xx

Thank you for taking the time to list this found dog and ensuring the safety of the dog.
Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
Please check on our Missing pages in case the Found dog has been registered as missing with us.
If possible please add a photo as this greatly assists our work in matching Found dogs with Missing dogs.
