There are some travellers sites around area found in and may have wandered off.from there! I do hope that she finds a loving forever home if not Amy which I have my doubts on account of age as well. Amys owner fone doesnt answer anymore!

This is a young lurcher - likely not even one year old according to the pound she's in - she has rescue space offered by two rescues at the moment if not claimed.

Veronica it will be good if SDK get back to you, hopefully they will check for tattoos. You wont have wasted your time, you will know you have done your best for a lost soul. Fingers crossed.
Veronica
Just sent an email to SDK, asking them to check her ear and giving contact email address and 'phone number for Hancock Lurchers. I'd expect them to have a record of who bought her.
I might have been completely wasting my time but am hoping SDK might actually follow this up.
Veronica
I've heard of Hancock lurchers. They're collie cross greyhound. Perhaps there are many with these collie type colours and markings. I did wonder about the white patch but thought (wishfully)that it might not go across both sides of the dog's neck.

This dog has a large white patch at back of neck

Just had a look at Ameys page and she is a Hancock Lurcher with ear Tattoo. Hancock lurchers all have ear tattoos starting DH, I don't know anything else about them only that they seem to be prized. SDK probably haven't even checked her ear, but then maybe they have.
Veronica
HelenCh, seen your comment on Amey's page. Such a shame we can't make contact. I wonder if anyone in admin has an email address that might work. It would, indeed, be magic
HelenCh
Veronica I think you could be right. When Amy was stolen in 2010 she was 1yr. Unless the nose is narrower..can't tell on pics. If only Rob is still here, wouldn't it be magic?

Stolen a long time ago but could this be Amey 25394?
Sent text to number on Amey's page.
