Have spoken with owner. Unfortunately Snatch is still missing. He ran off whilst on his walk from North Avenue area of Canvey Island. Police, dog warden and rescue kennels have been contacted. Owner is going to try to register on a friends computer in order to keep in contact with us. Home made posters with a photograph have been put up in the area, but so far no news at all. yes i agree with millysmum poster like mad advertise in local papers, also poster and check all pubs especially the rough ones. samson was sold in a local pub, we think, then he was past on again in the street until the final person to buy him saw his ad in the newsshopper. But also through doglost helpers posterting like mad they mad him too hot to handle. Samson was missing for 15 days. He came back fine. I'm sure yours will to.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Oh dear, not another missing Staffie. I posted a similar message on Tintz's (missing from E15) page yesterday but the same applies for Snatch: I'm so sorry to hear that this gorgeous boy is missing. Poster like mad and make Snatch the hottest boy in town. You just can't have too many posters, believe me!!! Make sure you visit all the local pubs at lunchtime or early evening when they tend to be quieter. Ask the manager to display a poster of Snatch and speak to as many regulars as possible as they will have plenty of good contacts and will be a mine of information. Sadly many dogs are traded on via pubs. Go along to one of those high street printers and take a photo of Snatch. Get them to reproduce the photo onto A4 card or paper (around 12 to a page) and write your contact details on the reverse. Hand them out to just about everyone, including the pub regulars. That way, when someone spots Snatch (AND THEY WILL!) they will have your details to hand rather than having to return to a poster. We have just found a Staffie boy (Samson) missing in our area (Beckenham, BR3) for 2 weeks because he was made too hot to handle. I hope that your handsome boy with the lovely smiley face will be back home very soon. Good Luck! Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Posters need to be displayed as soon as possible on notice boards, lamp posts, entrances to parks, dog bins and on cars. Take posters to vets, pet shops, postmen (for sorting offices), milkmen, dustmen, street cleaners, taxi drivers, schools, pubs, youth clubs, newsagents, post offices, takeaways, dog training clubs, supermarkets and car parks. Hand out reduced-down posters or cards to people - especially dog walkers - and deliver to houses and businesses. Police stations, Dog Wardens, the RSPCA and all rescue centres need checking frequently and preferably visited in person by owner or someone who knows Snatch well. Come home soon Snatch. Stay safe x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
