They will not come back for their dogs and have done them a huge favour as they will be rehomed to loving forever homes.

And they wonder why travellers have such a bad name? Disgusting. Bertie the black cocker spaniel disappeared from Ham Common on 13th July seconds after travellers started driving off. Wonder if these were part of the group that went to this site? Any idea where they went to?

unfortunately travellers ALWAYS leave appalling mess and as they dont use toilets in their caravans some of the mess is human waste. they ALMOST ALWAYS leave dead or live dogs. councils know these facts.1 of my little dogs is from them

WEST LONDON NEWS

Two DOGS found and heaps of rubbish left after travellers leave Perivale site. The animals were found after travellers left Sheraton Business site on Friday (July 29) - which was destroyed by a fire last year one of two dogs who were handed over to police after travellers left on Saturday (July 31)
Two dogs and heaps of rubbish were found after travellers left a site in Perivale - which only last year felt the turbulent effects of a fire which destroyed the site.

Around 15 caravans left Sheraton Business site on Friday (July 29) after staying there for a fortnight, according to Cllr Tariq Mahmood.

The site was formerly the Sheraton Business Centre, in Wadsworth Road, but the building was destroyed by a huge fire in July last year wiping out 23 units.

Now the area is ravaged by vast amounts of rubbish including wood, chairs and building waste after the travellers moved on.

The black and tan crossbreed found on Saturday (July 31)
A contractor working for Ealing Council also collected two small dogs from Greenford Police Station on Saturday (July 30), who were found in Wadsworth Road earlier that day.

One of the dogs was a small, male black and tan crossbreed while the other was a small, female cream and grey crossbreed.

A council spokesperson said: "Our contractor collected two small dogs from Greenford Police Station on 30 July that had been found in Wadsworth Road, Perivale.

"In line with our standard procedures, we are trying to trace the owners.

"If after seven days, the dogs are not reunited with their owners, they may be put forward for rehoming.

"Stray dogs collected by our contractor are advertised on their website www.lostdogsuk.co.uk ."

The rubbish includes wood, chairs and building waste
Both dogs were found by people in the area and handed over to police.

Labour Cllr Munir Ahmed is one of 18 freeholders owning the site and said they moved immediately to place 24-hour security guards on site.

Cllr Ahmed, who represents the Perivale ward, added that the freeholders will meet on Wednesday next week (August 10) to discuss how to removed the rubbish.

He said: "A freeholders meeting is called for next Wednesday (August 10) and we will be discussing it (removing the rubbish).

"It has only been a year since the site was burned in a fire so the businesses have been struggling trying to pick up the pieces."

The female cream and grey crossbreed found on Saturday (July 31)
It comes after a series of incidents involving travellers in Ealing over the past few months.

This year's Norwood Green Village Day had to be cancelled due to travellers who were on the green , with large amounts of rubbish found on the site after they left.

MP Stephen Pound, who has represented Ealing North since 1997, said: "The travellers have caused huge expense to the ordinary decent people of Perivale.

"Fortunately there are enough people with warm hearts in Ealing to convince me that we can home these poor unfortunates (the two dogs).
