- Thanks for your comment janiejewel1649! Rosco is neutered so I'm hoping he's not too far away, I got him done when he was 6 months old. Going to go round the estate again tonight knocking on doors, hopefully he will have just been on an adventure and be back home with us soon x

- If Rosco is un-neutered he may have gone looking for a female to mate with. (Cats can father kittens from around 5 months old) An age when Cat protection will neuter/spay them. Try leaving his scent kin the garden, along with your scent on too. Check sheds, garages etc in case he is locked in Wipe his scent on garden fences, and gates too. Wipe his scent on things in the road such as lamposts etc. The problem is that un=neutered male cats will go quite a way lookoing for a mate , crossing busy roads etc. If he is neutered wont be too far away. Also someone may be feeding him (Very common problem)

- Thank you! Vienna Road is about 0.7 miles from us we are on Yule Street. So he could have wandered over that way on his travels. Thank you, i'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed! x

- My daughter lives in Edgeley and her male cat went missing for two weeks over christmas, he casually strolled in a few weeks after christmas as if he had never been missing! He had apparently been chasing a female cat and made himself at home with a neighbour before he went back home. I hope this is the case with your cat too, male cats tend to go missing for days on end then come home without a care in the word!
