  • Lost In Region East Anglia
  • Lost In Post Area PE13
  • Date Reunited
  • Other Info Missy had a litter of puppies (unplanned) before I rehomed her. She is blue, has a white chest. All her feet are white and her front left leg is white all the way up. She also has a white patch on the back of her neck and a white tip on her tail. I'm extremely worried and have been since she's been gone! I have looked eveywhere for her since she's been gone even hiring someone to look for her! I just hope she's safe and this couple wasn't dodgey!

I am afraid that there ate people out there who can't keep their unhelpful comments to themselves. You thought you were doing the right thing for Missy and should not be berated for it. If you have the couples names you could try searching for them on the electoral role on www.192.com. You will have to pay a small amount. Have you tried googling their email address or trying to find them on Facebook or LinkedIn?

I've been following post of missy which have been shared on Facebook ect. And on one page there seems to be a lot of negative comments! I am not a heartless person if I was I wouldn't still be trying to find out if missy is safe 2 years on! I would of just got on with my life and forgot about it. I had no choice but to rehome missy, people don't know people's circumstances for rehoming animals and you shouldn't judge I was very ill and had a lot of bad stuff happening at the time and it was best for missy to go to a family who could give her what she needed! I thought she was going to a good family and for all I know she could be, there could be a good reason why the phones been off since. You just don't know. If you can help by sharing then please do if not don't pass comment.,Last edited: 2016-05-31 22:32:28 by Loucoop

I did not ask for any money for her, just free to a good home, the couple seemed nice, they said they had a female staff before but she passed away of old age and they was looking for another one, they sent pictures of there garden ect gave me a contact number, I was meant to get an adress but forgot to ask when they collected her so when I rang to ask the phone was switched off, and has been since. I didn't realise gumtree was a bad website to rehome dogs , I have never rehomed a animal before, and had seen other dogs to be rehomed on there and it was where I bought missy from the first place. The couple that collected missy, where a female and male in there mid to late 40's. Female light/medium brown shoulder length hair and male had a beard /moustache and was balding. Accent sounded London. They was driving a black Volvo estate, a newish shape with light interior. I searched the mobile number that they gave me to contact them and at the same time or a month before they collected missy they advertised to rehome a brown and white English bull dog male for £750 on gumtree! Which makes me think that maybe they go around getting dogs for free off of websites and are re selling them for money. I just want to know she's safe and is ok. There are so many weirdos out there. Just so strange how they ditched the phone straight after picking it up and how the same number was used to re home another dog for £750! Last edited: 2016-05-30 19:17:16 by Loucoop

No she was never chipped :(

Was Missy chipped Loucoop? If so, may be worth contacting the chip company. They wouldn't be able to give you the new owners contact details, but if you explain the circunstances, they may be able to forward a message to them? Worth an ask at any rate. Hope you find some news soon x

Thankyou everyone! I have changed the area to Wisbech as this is where the couple said they was from and that is where they was taking missy! They collected her from my home in Surrey! I just hope she's safe. It's been such a long time with no contact on knowing how she is!
