- Jess has a full tail and this found dog is described as having half tail so sadly not a match x

- Every dog i scan gets scanned everywhere - including feet as in the past they have migrated there.. I also scan them twice - once when i pick them up and then again when i get them to kennels.

- microchips can move/not be picked up, my dog's microchip has migrated around to near her chest so when a traditional scan is done (between shoulder blades and then sweeping down back) hers doesnt trigger scanner either, scanner only 'beeps' when moved to her front

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
