- Yipee so pleased Molly is home safe with you Jackie, so happy your nightmare is over... very well done to everyone who has helped xxx
Once again those people who stole her will go unpunished and will probably do it again to someone else's family pet. Like Nina I ask Why? What makes them think they can just steal a dog like that. Seems you must have got to them Jackie yesterday when you visited a few sites. You were brave to do that. Sorry to rant but it makes me so angry xxx Sending a gentle hug for Molly and hope she recovers this trauma quickly xxx - 2011-09-03 23:38 Unknown

This shows how a devoted owner and lots of kind people; friends & strangers, can really pull something this massive off. And it was massive. Jackie, you did it! Well done. You got your baby back. How right Jackie was to poster all the travellers' sites and how brilliant that we had the media on board! Wish we always had that. Welcome home Molly, well done Jackie, well done everyone who helped. Way to go, Essex DogLost helpers! x

So many possibilities after everything jackie has done - had friends doing the bootsales, orsett show blitzed and certain 'sites' visited.....not forgetting all the poster, press, FB etc.....but the important thing is Molly is HOME and that's what we were all helping and waiting for so there will be lots of happy people tonight. :)

- WOOOOO HOOOOOOO, just had a call from one very overjoyed Jackie! She had just got Molly. Molly is ok, not her normal self, subdued, and shocked no doubt but with all the tlc and being back home where she belongs I am sure she will soon be back to normal. Have asked for a reunited pic once all settled.
Well done Jackie and helpers who worked so hard, making Molly too hot to handle and once again showing how important posters and spreading the word is! This has made my weekend. Big hugs to Molly. Last edited: 2011-09-03 16:34:53 by Jo - Area Co-ordinator, Essex - 2011-09-03 16:06 CLARE

Went up to get your number and called the mobile but there was no answer. When I called the man back to give him your details he said he was already with you. I hope this was the case and you are reunited. If not I have his number for you to get in touch. Sincerely hope molly is Ok. Therre are some good folk in the world!

- Hi Jackie, Jo can pass you my address so that you can send me some posters. I saw you've been busy with them today, saw one at the 'hall', although I'd also put one on the fence at the entrance too. Another visible place would be at the level crossing. Really hope you hear something soon and I'll start postering as soon as I receive them.x

- Yikes guys best to use those plastic cable sealers as staplegun and drawing pins in trees does not impress local authorities..try sellotaping to dog poo bins and shop windows...
- 2011-09-02 16:01 Barney 'n' Ozzie's mum
- Just wanted to say that some councils don't like you attaching posters to trees with drawing pins and will remove them (certainly around my way they do). How about using something like gaffa tape and putting them on lamp posts instead where possible?
- 2011-09-02 15:54 Jackie
- have been out today to a couple of traveller sites in the chelmsford area. handed out posters and had chats with the travellers about molly. put more posters up in places where lots of people will see them. gave some posters to some police officers who said they will spread the word. thanks to jo at doglost who has arranged for molly to be featured in the brentwood weekly newspaper- that is next weeks edition. have had leaflets made up and more posters for distribution over the weekend. thanks to evryone who is helping- need to get molly back to safety. xxx
- 2011-09-02 00:47 Jackie
- i have been using drawing pins to attach posters to wood. if you let me know where you are skysasha i will give you some posters. i think we must live near each other x
- 2011-09-02 00:08 Kimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders
- You can use sellotape; it does actually work quite well if you wrap it round a couple of times to & bottom. If you have a staple gun you can use that for anything wood. Trees are kindly helpful to us but sometimes posters on trees can get taken down, sometimes not. You can also use a staple gun on park benches, wooden fences etc, but tape is fine. Put posters in the eyeline of motorists in the lane of travel on i.e. telegraph poles, lamp posts, at junctions where they have to sit for a moment, phone boxes, BT street boxes, bus stops (sometimes get removed). I tend to poster anything and everything except speed signs or we'll get told off. :-) Go for it! Thank you SkySasha. x
- 2011-09-01 22:42 SkySasha
- Hi Jo, yep, address is correct. Please feel free to send me some posters and I'll put them up wherever I go. btw what's best method of attaching posters to trees/gates etc?

- I'm in touch with helper Karen again, who has great contacts, and is also friends with an owner of a local radio station so we're passing on all Molly's details and fingers crossed for an appeal on there too.

- I'm really pleased the Brentwood Gazette picked up the story and are going to do a full page feature, I think we may have DL helper Karen to thank for that as she gave me the name of a friend of hers who is editor there so like the others he got an email too, and she tweeted him ;o)
Great to see she's on the Essex Police website so prominently, and even better going in the free Yellow Advertiser. Here's a link to her feature on the Essex Police website so helpers can have a look -

- Hi, really hope Molly is found soon. I dog walk in this area and have been keeping a keen eye out since I was told about this yesterday. I was at Ingatestone Hall yesterday and today and so far no posters on the entrances/gates etc. I don't have a printer otherwise I'd do it myself. I've shared the facebook group and have told everyone I meet out on my walks. Lets hope you get some good news soon.x

- Great to hear the Brentwood Gazette have agreed to run an article! You can always give them DogLost's 0844 800 3220 number as an additional number to feature in the article for anyone to call in complete confidence or anonymously (and we would obviously pass the info on to you) as it sometimes helps info come in having that extra option and people will easily be able to find her online too via DL. xLast edited: 2011-09-01 13:12:04 by Jo - Area Co-ordinator, Essex

- You are doing really well, Jackie. Sometimes it does take a while to hear anything; just keep busy pro-actively working to get Molly home, as you are doing. The world needs to know about lovely Molly. All your work leads to her being found. She's getting too hot to handle with all these posters going up. The press Jotty has mentioned sounds absolutely fantastic. That is just what you need and you have a brilliant dog warden by all accounts. You and Molly have a lot going for you. Come on Molly sweetheart, let's get you home. x

- Have spoken to Jackie who is doing a stirling job with posters, ringing round and raising awareness for Molly. Posters going up further afield today. All vets rung and photo and poster will be going to those. Suggested posters at Ingatestone Saddlery too which owner’s will cover. Going to hopefully get some good local press coverage, owners have already been in touch with a reporter at the Brentwood Gazette, but off the back of the national press on dog theft atm, hopefully the locals will run something a little more extensive.
Police issued a CRN and are making some enquiries – nothing significant to go on yet sadly.
A farm worker reported seeing a van that was driving around the farm – the only vehicles normally on the farm and where Molly was being walked are either farm vehicles or from the shoot, of which this was from neither. It is *possibly* a Renault van, and it was GREY in colour. No registration unfortunately. Have suggested details are circulated round local farm watch schemes, it is quite possibly the vehicle has been doing the rounds and someone may even have noted the reg. Also advised circulating details to all local PCSOs who are on the ground and out and about. Molly’s story will also be published in the Police Newspaper and circulated across different stations etc.
Hopefully with all the publicity and hard work, it won’t be long before lovely Molly is home. Thanks everyone for all your help.

- Thank you Rosalie. I woudl like to say I hope she' sback before the weekend, but if not I shall poster along the A414 from Harlow to Norton Mandeville. If anyone could poster the other side of A414 at Ingatestone, that would really help, as I'm not sure I could get that far myself. Yes, you are right about the Dale Farm, Crays Hill eviction. I am thinking along the same lines - sadly. Who else would steal a poor dog in this manner? This baby has really got to me, please let's get her home. x

I suspect this is the same group of people who had abducted "Unknown" Boxer "Cee" Herts & Essex border. It actually gives us a bit more to go one regarding both these precious dogs. I will poster heavily at the travellers sites in Harlow; any helpers in Chelmsford and Herts areas please poster heavily around travellers sites near you. - Owners were walking their dog on farmland when a vehicle was heard. Molly was one side of a hedge and the vehicle sped off and when they got there Molly had gone. They have been given an incident number so advised to press for a crime reference number.
PHOTO to be sent on to admin as soon as one is sorted so mailing can go out.
Molly i an older dog wwho is DEAF and has neurological probelms that make her head tilt to one side. Molly is chipped and the company have already been notified along with dog wardens vets etc, Sadly there is no CCTV at the farm.
