Very sad news for Torvi 💔

OP - Today we had some heart breaking news - after months of searching for Torvi she was found in a nature reserve field above parish woods close to where she was lost.

It looks as though she probably died shortly after running away, most likely kicked by a deer.

She's back home now and at least we can get some closure but obviously this isn't the outcome we prayed for 💔

Thank you to everyone who looked for her, shared her posts and sent lovely messages, sorry it wasn't better news 😢

Owner update 🙏

11.3.25 Torvi is still missing but in the last 24 hours, we have had 3 sightings of a black lurcher fitting Torvi's description- one in Scarborough, Mount View Avenue last night and two this morning at Spittal Farm, Staxton roundabout and on the road heading from there to Flixton. We've spent hours searching, knocking on doors, etc but no dog has been found. No-one we spoke to knows of a black lurcher local to the area which suggests it's a stray 🤔
Please keep your eyes peeled and try and take a photo if you see such a dog and let us know 🙏🙏 Thank you xx

STILL MISSING 5TH JANUARY 💔
SINCE 31ST DECEMBER

PLEASE keep looking for and sharing Torvi!

We are so worried now and there have been no sightings at all

We have had drones, thermal cameras, people down the cliffs, hundreds of people searching. Dog warden, vets, chip company, caravan parks, everyone you can think of has been notified

It was suggested by someone that a barbeque might lure her out of hiding with the smell of cooking meat so if anyone wants to help - a disposable BBQ with something smelly on it could help

Near anywhere a dog could hide between Filey and Scarborough/Cayton or Bridlington

We're just praying she's hiding somewhere and will eventually come out
