- Thanks for post. When contacting policed, it`s always best to speak to the Officer-in-Charge. Also pleased the RSPCA have been informed. Yes, it may be the same person who is now out, and served a sentence. If so, they should double, or treble the sentence. TYhe problem isa today, there are too many Do-gooders. All xd for the safe return of Smokey. x

- TrudielovesMax Yes the police are involved as are the RSPCA.
That in itself does not give me much faith to be honest.
I am not 100% sure but I think this happened some years back and the person spent time in side.
Maybe he is out.
What ever this person must be caught ASAP. - 2024-12-04 21:07 TrudielovesMax!
- Also hope the injured cats make a full recovery. Paws and fingers xd for them. I hope soon that justice will be done. x

- Sorry to see that Smokey is still missing, and the other cats have been so ill treated by this scumbag. Have you contacted the police? Also is there CCTV in the area, or have any of the residents have cameras? This moron needs to be found asap. Hope smokey is reunited very soon. All xd.

One cats Tail has been found so there is a poor cat suffering and one cat has been shot.
Below is a 3rd cat that might have to put to sleep because of armpits that have nothing better to do.
They are just coward I hope they suffer for what they have done.
There is also a missing Tabby and the owner is furious thinking something happened to his cat too.

- According to residents, a series of worrying incidents have hit the Rectory Road area of Pitsea over the last week.
Jennifer Baker, 36, has claimed her cat - two-year-old Shadow - returned home on Friday missing all of the fur on its tail and in agony.
He is now facing having his tail amputated tomorrow, and could even be put down if his injuries are severe enough.
“He’s due to have an amputation on Wednesday, but he will be assessed to see if he has to be put down. It’s horrible, the cat’s on painkillers and okay for now.
“It’s cut down to the bone, there’s no flesh or anything. It’s stripped down to the bone
“I’m furious, really angry. I believe someone’s done this, I want to see justice. I’ve had him since he was a kitten, he’s not just a cat, he’s part of the family.” - 2024-12-01 13:57 TrudielovesMax!
- Assume all outbuildings checked at the time Smokey went awol? Best to check several times, as cats will stay very quiet when trapped; they are renowned for it. Bear in mind too that cats have very flexible spines, so they can squeeze into narrow spaces (About 3" wide)So has Smokey managed to climb into a partially opened window, and iz now trapped? Exiting can be more difficult; it depends on the drop. Pit Smokey`s UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, and leave in the arden in a sheltered spot. You could leave out his litter tray but beware other cats may use it, and it may confuse, and upset the cat. Take good walks around the area, holding an object with his scent on, and rattle some Dreamies; someone may be feeding him (Common problem) Cats cab smell scents from about three miles away. Try a squeaky toy too. Is there a dominant cat in the area? As sometimes they will chase a less confident cat out of it`s own territory; however the cased cat will not return until they think ir`s "Safe" enough for them to do so. Poster around the area, such as post offices; shops; and post flyers through doors too. If smokey hasn`t been neutered, it is possible he/she has gone seeking a mate, especially if male. Hope Smokey will be reunited very soon. All xd.Last edited: 2024-12-01 14:07:01 by TrudielovesMax!
