Apparently the owner has been found and the police has taken her from Battersea. Not sure if the owner is open to go to court, but as far as I have gathered that is the way to have the dog assessed to reconfirm the type and then have people decide if they seem dangerous and pose a danger or if they can be released and an exemption certificate given as long as the owner pays insurance etc. Let's hope the owner will fight for this pupper!

Quick update; we are now in touch with two potential owners. And have been liaising with both Battersea and Dog Warden for the area. Hopefully this can be resolved today, at least ownership confirmed.
Thanks for all the messages - we do also have support from Rocky’s Army on the legal side

Please can we ask that nobody else tries to claim her just to get her safe; this has caused confusion at Battersea

Hello there, I beleieve this is my neighbours dog. I heard she lost hers a few days ago. I havent see her in few days but she often has to look after her mother who is poorly amd not local, I don't have a mobile number for her but how can i help? I live around the corner from battersea and the dog will recognise me and my daughter. She's a lovely girl, surely they can't kill her for no reason? Can I appeal for an extension of some kind?
