- Please be aware that there will be no sightings of Bonnie during the day while we have this hot weather. Sightings will be late in the evening and very early morning when it is cooler, quieter and less people about. Please ensure all Post persons and farmers/farm workers are aware of Bonnie.

- Might it be worth posting a maintenance request using a pocketed posted at a service entrance to the railway. So when the line is next walked on maintenance through the tunnel area things can be double checked. Most dogs reported to network rail are only logged and only matched if drivers public or maintenance find or spot something - but mostly they don’t actually groundsearch for you 🥴 sadly it’s a possibility why you have had no sightings. I think the track is accessible off station road platform and if any works were going on😩

- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact investigations@doglost.co.uk
