Hi Suzanne, we believe stolen but as there is no proof we have be very careful what we say.
Suzanne
Thank you for the update, sorry that the little one was not your pup. May I ask please how your pup went missing - on a walk or stolen?
Teddy1
Just to let you all know, the little puppy that was found in Reading on Wednesday 4th May 2022 is NOT mine.
I’ve had a long chat with the RSPCA who have been extremely happyful but have confirmed he is not mine.

Thank you all for alerting me but please keep helping to look for my baby. Thank you
Teddy1
Thank you ……. I am trying to find out if this is my baby

Dogs on the run have a puppy on their website on Facebook very similar to your pip.
Teddy1
Thank you for all your help and alerting me to the post.
I hope he will be ok whether he is ours or not……. People are so cruel!!
Suzanne
Glad you found the post. I hope they get back to you as soonest. Stay strong. x
Teddy1
Thank you Suzanne…… I found the post, but my message is pending. I’ve tried to contact via pm, but hasn’t seen it yet.

My husband has found the number for the RSPCA and we are going to call them in the morning.

Suzanne
I have just looked on FB at where this post was from originally - Burghfield and Mortimer Gossip. Natalie Britton found the pup and posted about him - just saying took to the vets and now with RSPCA. It is a public group so you will be able to see the post and tag Natalie Britton in - any issues with finding this on FB, let me know and I will do this for you and share on there your DogLost post. Everything crossed that you find your pup. 🐾🤞Last edited: 2022-05-04 22:46:25 by Suzanne

Thank you Suzanne……. I’m trying to do this on my phone. Please can I have your email ? Or can you tell me where I can find.

My mind is racing, if it is my fur baby how on earth did he end up in Reading. 😱 my baby is microchip, so hopefully they would also contact me.
Suzanne
I looked on the post I shared - shows details of the finder. Please feel free to IM me or email and I can share that with you? I can only assume RSPCA - located in or near Reading where pup was found.
Teddy1
Thank you Suzanne…… someone phoned me late this afternoon. I’ve been trying to get more information without success.

If anyone can tell me where he has been taken, possibly a contact number too, that would be really helpful.

I’m going to try and ring the RSPCA tomorrow to see if they can help.
Suzanne
You may already be aware/ruled out, but if not - there has been a 16 weeks old puppy found in Reading - I shared this on Lost and Found Dogs - Hampshire - please see this shared post for full details. Last edited: 2022-05-04 21:30:55 by Suzanne

Sorry to see that CAVACHON is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact investigations@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (175433)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
  • DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please call our helpline on 01633 668 364. Lines are open seven days a week 08:00-20:00.
