Adding here -
This is Stanley (Prev Henley but my dog is called Henry, he successfully answered to it when he first came) my family rescued him after he was tied up in the middle of York and left. He was taken to the dog warden in Selby and my mum couldn’t bare the thought of him being left there.
Now this is where it gets interesting, his chip said he was declared dead two years ago. So my guess is he was once upon a time stolen and his owners possibly declared him deceased after not being able to find him. So I was wondering if anyone recognised him?
He’s around 10 years old, called Henley on his chip and he’s bigger than my cocker Henry but smaller than a Springer so he’s possibly a sprocker. Lovely boy but if it was my Henry that was missing I’d like to know someone has found him.
any updates please? x

From Police 17/11/21 - UPDATE: Unfortunately no-one has contacted Minster Vets for this little guy.
He has been collected by the Dog Warden at York Council and is now safe in a comfy kennel.
