Billybob went missing on a walk on Chesterfield Canal with his lead still attached after being spooked by people felling trees. He ran back towards the car park on Station Rd Brimington and his owner lost sight of him. Another team contacted us to help as he was missing in our area. BillyBob is only a pup and a Romanian rescue and very nervous
We immediately advised the owner to get posters up and get the word out not to chase or try and catch him unless in a secure area. Also to leave some food and a scent item out in the car park that he headed back to when he ran off. Both had gone this am so looks like Bobby may have been back sometime yesterday.
The sighting we was waiting for finally came in this morning that BillyBob was hiding in Bushes on Station Road Brimington not far from the car park. He was heard crying and found to be caught up with his lead. The finder tried to free him but he darted in the bushes so we advised the owner to head to the garden and sit quietly with some food. When BillyBob heard his mum he popped his head out realised who she was and rolled on his back for a fuss extremely happy to see her.
