"โš ๏ธโ›”๏ธPlease share - Dog Search Safety Adviceโ›”๏ธโš ๏ธ
We are aware there is an ongoing public search for a much loved pet dog, missing in the St Bees area.
We would like to remind the public of the many dangers along our coast and ask that you keep away from cliff edges. If a missing pet is located on the cliffs, then please do not put yourself at risk by attempting a self rescue.
Make a note of your location (grid reference/what3words/landmark etc) and ๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐—ฎ๐—น ๐Ÿต๐Ÿต๐Ÿต ๐—ถ๐—บ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—น๐˜† ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐—ฎ๐˜€๐—ธ ๐—ณ๐—ผ๐—ฟ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—–๐—ผ๐—ฎ๐˜€๐˜๐—ด๐˜‚๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฑ, our Rope Rescue team at Whitehaven can then be deployed to ensure safety to the public and safely retrieve the pet.
In a coastal, sea or cliff emergency โ˜Ž๏ธ9โƒฃ9โƒฃ9โƒฃ and ask for the Coastguard.
From Rope Rescue (cliff/vessel access etc), Water Rescue, Mud Rescue, casualty evacuation, vessels in distress, Missing Persons, suspicious items (ordnance/pyrotechnics), Royal Fish (whales, sturgeons, porpoises and dolphins) etc, then we’ve got you covered should you need us."

Are we sure that the dog ‘let herself out’ of the caravan - rather than being stolen? Folk would be sharing further afield if it was thought that she might have been stolen. ๐Ÿ˜ข
