- How wonderful to see Dora safely back home...these thieves are Despicable cruel, greedy &, heartless... They should be charged for not only pet theft but Animal cruelty...
What concerns me tho is... Why has it taken so long to get Dora home since the raid of Feb 12 th??,. Even if there was a problem with her Microchip... Had there been no comparison of all the found dogs with photos of similar breeds as listed here, on this database as Missing or Stolen?...
A morning's work if that for someone, cost of their time compared with the cost of the dogs ' care & kennelling?... I can see that' Bo' had mentioned earlier on here, as a comment, that a White Female JRT had been recovered during the raid..
I apologise if I am assuming incorrectly that photo comparison has not been done.. & hope that all the other dogs have been photoed & circulated to Wardens...
It's a shame that we aren't allowed to see photos of the dogs from the raid...we did ask.... if so.. I'm sure that Dora would have been home much sooner.
This scenario surely highlights the need for a central database between all authorities... Police, council Wardens, vets, rspca doglost itself...? Would it be possible /feesible /do able in this day of modern technology? Last edited: 2021-02-24 01:21:47 by #stoppettheft - 2021-02-23 21:53 sheltielover

Officers are appealing for anyone who thinks they may own any of the dogs rescued during a warrant in Quedgeley yesterday (Friday 12 February) to come forward as the investigation continues.
Initial enquiries, including checks on microchips, have been carried out on 15 adult dogs recovered at a location in Naas Lane but no owners have yet been traced.
The breed, sex and colour of each dog is below and if you believe a dog might be yours, please email Neil.Snaith@gloucestershire.pnn.police.uk and Diane.Blandford@gloucestershire.pnn.police.uk.
Our officers will be looking for proof of ownership so please send as many details as you can about your dog.
Images of the dogs won’t be released at this stage of the investigation.
The 55-year-old man arrested on suspicion of theft in connection with the case has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
The recovered dogs remain at a secure location.

- Search update. Today I covered 4/5hr in areas we have previously swept but went deeper into boundaries using ground tools. Nothing sadly to report. I know owners don’t hold hope but I just have a feeling she’s on the move. No body she has to be further out or moving.
Thank you to Peter Drone SAR for his broad sweeps and letting us check footage yesterday. We were 5 on the ground and got a lot done - 2021-02-09 18:51 Dillon

- i know it’s a way and sorry if false hope, but i found a dog that looks very similar to your last night around 8pm in billingshurst village,
face looks very similar but sorry i can not remember if had tan marking on back or not but had tan ears, she wearing a brown/beige collar but no ID tag on it, managed to get her and have taken her to Arun vets group in storrington they checked microchip which she had put it wasn’t registered, again sorry if not yours but though worth a message to you just incase, - 2021-02-09 08:35 Administrator
- Advice sent in response to David's Facebook post yesterday.
Please can people in the neighbourhood intensively search their gardens etc and any spaces Dora could hide in. Also check any video before it overwrites (CCTV, doorbell and vehicle cameras)
